Salmon with Creamy Avocado Sauce


  • 6 fillets, 6 oz. each, about 1" thick

  • 1/2 large avocado, peeled, pitted, quartered

  • 1/4 c. fat-free sour cream

  • 1 T reduced fat mayonnaise

  • 1 tsp. lemon juice

  • 1 tsp. garlic, minced

  • 1/4 tsp. hot pepper sauce

  • 1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

  • 1/4 tsp. salt

  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper

Illustrated Dinner


Place fillets skin side down on aluminum foil-lined baking sheet.  Coat fish with oil.  Preheat broiler.  Cook fish for 10-12 minutes or until fish is opaque.  While fish is cooking, combine remaining ingredients in food processor and process until mixture is smooth. 

Place fish on dinner plates and serve with sauce on top.
